I struggled a lot to make sense of the various permutations of the HT1250.
The tl;dr seems to be:
- "HT1250," is conventional-only (no LTR or Passport trunking), but has 160 (?) channels and supports MDC.
- HT1250LS / HT1250LS+ support trunking, but have either 16 (?) or 32 channels. The 32-channel ones support MDC; the 16-channel ones do not.
- LS supports only LTR; LS+ supports LTR and PassPort. Seems the LS+ is much more widely available.
- The 16- and 32-channel radios refer to conventional channels. All (?) trunking-capable radios support 15 zones of 16 channels each on trunked systems.
All the UHF radios are adjustable 1-4 Watts.
